Launch of NASA Phoenix Mission to Mars

Background information on the transmission:
The launch of NASA's Phoenix probe is set for Saturday 4 August at 09:26 GMT to start a mission to Mars to try to locate a habitable zone on the Red Planet.
Phoenix will launched from Cape Canaveral aboard a Delta II. Weather forecast predicts an 80 percent chance of favorable weather for Saturday as well as Sunday. This launch will initiate the latest in a series of U.S. and ESA missions in orbit around Mars in search of evidence for past or present life on Mars. NASA has until 24 August to launch Phoenix.
